Since RSSC opened in July of 2008, our sole focus has been to provide the highest level of care and quality skin care treatment.  Dr. Housman was Raleigh’s first fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon.  She founded the practice 18 years ago and is Raleigh most trusted Mohs Surgeon.  We specialize in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and general Dermatology.  When skin cancer is treated with Mohs surgery, on average, RSSC can clear a patient in less than two stages, which decreases the cost to both the patient and the health care system.  In addition, RSSC has no hospital affiliation, which means no additional facility fee will be charged.  Dr. Housman has been the primary Mohs surgeon for over 18,000 Mohs cases and reconstructions, including flaps and grafts.  Her emphasis on Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the associated reconstructions has made her one of the most highly regarded, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons.
